Kaya! Halo! Hello! Salamat! Kia Ora! Kamusta! Goeie Dag!
My name is Ms Jamy Stallman
I am so excited to be the classroom teacher in Room 9 this year. We currently have an even mix of both Year 5 and Year 6 students in our class.
On a Thursday, Ms Egan will be teaching the students Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, and Protective Behaviour.
On a Friday, Ms Slater will be teaching the students Noongar language.
I am a graduate from Curtin University and have been teaching for the last two years at Wundowie Primary School and working with students with special needs at another school in Northam.
I grew up with my three brothers on a farm in Queensland and my family moved to the Perth Hills as a teenager. I have been extremely lucky to have travelled around Australia and different parts of the world, but have now settled back in the Perth Hills with my partner and three boys.
For your convenience, I have added Room 9's Term 2 planner, and some links to some useful websites/online programs that you can use with your child at home to consolidate their learning from what we are doing in class.
Room 9 Assembly
Students in Room 9 learned about the word courage and what that looked like. They tried out for different parts in a play and then set about practising very hard to learn their lines and a dance routine. Their courage grew and grew and in Week 4, they finally went on stage and did an amazing job teaching the rest of the school about courage. Well done Room 9!
A big congratulations to the students in Room 9 who received their Values Certificates.
